Easter weekend with a twist

Welcome to celebrate a tasty and relaxing Easter with us at Sundbyholms Slott. Here, tradition, spring feelings and the good things in life come together in an atmospheric castle environment on the shores of Lake Mälaren.

 

Start with Afternoon Tea

The Easter weekend begins with an elegant afternoon tea in the castle's beautiful halls and atmospheric vaults. Enjoy freshly baked scones, delicious pastries and delicate sandwiches - all served with carefully selected teas. A perfect moment to both relax and socialize.

 

Generous Easter buffet

As the evening approaches, our traditional Easter buffet is laid out. Here, you will find a multitude of classic dishes together with sweet desserts - a taste journey through Easter favorites, prepared with care and love.

 

Sleep well in comfortable beds
After a day filled with flavors and experiences, a good night's sleep awaits you in our individually decorated hotel rooms. Wake up refreshed and enjoy our large breakfast buffet before taking a walk in the budding spring environment.

 

Activities
Take a walk in the beautiful castle environment, breathe in the peace of nature or enjoy a drink in our pleasant lounges. Easter is the perfect time to slow down, socialize and just be. If you and your party are looking for a little more speed and excitement, you can spend time together by playing our free board games such as shuffle board, air hockey, pool table etc. There is a bar at the castle and a smaller bar in the hotel lobby.

 

Extra Easter activities (free participation for all hotel guests):

• Outdoor Easter egg hunt for the Easter Bunny's hidden letters in beautiful surroundings for older children and adults starts at the castle gate at 16:00, 16:15, 16:30, 16:45, and 17:00 (you choose your own start time, no pre-booking required) and ends by 17:30. The castle's Easter witch hasn't left for Blåkulla; instead, she is leading the treasure hunt and will reward you with Easter sweets once you've correctly found all the letters. For the little ones (0-3 years of age) we have a smaller trail.
• Indoor egg painting for children and adults from 3-6 pm.

Our Easter celebration package (with afternoon tea) includes the following:

• 12.30, 1 pm, 3 pm or 3.15 pm: The castle's afternoon tea with sandwiches, canapés, scones, cookies and various pastries, cake and other Easter delights. 
  You choose one of these starting times when booking online. 
  Please note that our regular check-in time for hotel rooms is 3 pm, but you can check in to the rooms earlier if we have had time to prepare your room.
  
  

• 6:00 p.m., 6:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.: The castle's delicious Easter buffet with several different starters, small hot and main courses and two desserts.
  You choose one of these starting times when booking online.
  
  

• Breakfast at the castle between 8-11 a.m. You will receive the starting time at check-in.

   

Check-in to your hotel room can be done from 3 p.m. (earlier if your room is ready) and check-out can be done no later than 11 a.m.

All meals are served at the castle while overnight stays take place in one of our hotel buildings. There is no accommodation at the castle (except for the castle's ghosts).

Do you have your children with you? The discounted children's prices include afternoon tea and Easter buffet as well as an extra bed in the parents' room/suite and breakfast.
