The castle's afternoon tea

Enjoy the Castle's Grand Afternoon Tea which takes place on Saturdays from mid-January to mid-June, and from early September to mid-November.

THE CASTLE'S AFTERNOON TEA: Starts either at 12.30 or 13.00 and takes place on one of the castle's three floors - either the basement vault, the entrance floor or the party floor. Closes at 2:30 p.m.

THE CASTLE'S LATE AFTERNOON TEA: Starts either at 15.00 or 15.15 and takes place in the castle vault's dining rooms with access to the castle vault's bar. Slottets Late afternoon tea is like Slottets afternoon tea but is enhanced with a warm and hearty pie and salad. The buffet is laid out at 4:30 p.m., but those of you who wish can stay and socialize together. You also have access to a bar if you want.

The castle's afternoon tea is served on a buffet that includes:

Canapes or canapés
Scones
Bread
Fresh cheese, brie, additional cheese and marmalades
Lemon curd
Butter and cream
Several different types of cakes and pastries
Cake
Fruit
Tea and coffee

Please note - In addition to everything above, Slottet's Late afternoon tea also includes a warm pie and salad.

Scones, bread, cookies, pastries and cakes are baked in the castle's own pastry shop.

Let us know if you are allergic by writing in the message field. As someone with an allergy, you normally get a more limited selection depending on which allergy you have. We usually buy gluten-free from specialty bakeries.

There is a chair lift (but no indoor passenger lift) and we would like you to let us know if anyone in the party is wheelchair bound or has difficulty climbing stairs by writing it in the message field.
